  • Story: Studied Judo through primary school, and took to the groundwork quickly.
    Dedicated a lot of time to Aikido through highschool, then went to University in home town to obtain graphic design degree, and was introduced to the first UFC tapes, while looking for answers and growing frustrated with Aikido.
    Sought other martial training and hopped around the local JuiJutsu, Judo and Freestyle clubs until a Machado BJJ club opened.
    Got stuck right into Machado BJJ and associated shootfighting training, and loved every minute.
    Had to halt training while completing final year of university, then shifted to the city with girlfriend to start career.
    Always stayed an MMA fan and fitted training at home around a challenging job, marriage and new baby, but now intend to pick up training again, and make the most of my youth!!
